Outside marketing/ product delivery

 Reports to: The Owner and/or Sales Manager 

Salary/Benefits: Expense Base Plus straight Commission

Responsibilities

  • Know and follow the company rules and regulations. Leeds by example in speech, ethics and attitudes.

  • Forms a route and sticks to it – covering his overall costs by the 15th of the month in new sales

  • Be able to fill in as the parts delivery person when needed - paid by the hour

  • Be able to fully represent and clearly communicate to the potential customer the owner and manager’s Vision, mission, culture and USP (Unique selling Proposition)

  • The ability to recognize opportunity and uses it to the company’s  advantage

  • Meet or exceed a specific monthly sales quota and KPI's (Key performance indicator's)

  • Responsible for a specific type outside sales marketing program

  • Provide daily marketing that produces results and follows the lead of the sales manager and owner

  • The ability to come across comfortable with the product and confident in his ability

  • Processing customers requests – and making courtesy calls when the request is completed. He is excellent at customer service and follow through.

  • Communicating with the sales team when a specific product is needed. 

  • Works on his selling techniques by reading books, listening to CD and attending sales training programs

  • Working on the big deal at all times – shooting for the stars

  • Being willing to fill in where needed

  • Honoring the Sales managers specific request in a timely fashion

 

Skills

Qualifications/Education: Preferred at least 3 years in sales in the wheel and tire industry or a 4-year degree in business.  4+ Years of Military experience with an honorable discharge a plus.

 

  • The ability to listen and respond properly

  • The ability to motivate themselves and stay motivated because of personal work ethics

  • Full understands and exercises up selling and option selling

  • The ability to use clear – precise – English

  • Always – every time – asks for the sale

  • An outside sales person must be able to handle the dissatisfied customer with skill and yet still adhere to company rules and policy. The owner expects for the outside sales person to handle all customer relation problems without his direct involvement and still maintain them as a customer that is happy and satisfied.  They must have a “thick skin” and not take it personally.

  • The ability to be thorough and pay close attention to details – they must be detailed orientated

  • The ability to read the individual’s personality and adapt ones self to them to sell

  • The ability to upsell into high profit margins

  • Being able to do great customer service and teach others by example

  • Patience with others

  • The ability to come across comfortable with the product and confident in his ability

  • The ability to multi- task and still be able to be great at customer service

  • Basic computer skills - typing

  • Communication with the sales manager weekly on why and where I am in my sales quota

  • Teaching others the better way to sell – actively instructing through

  1. Attending weekly Huddles or sales meeting

  2.  Leading by example both in results and techniques

  3.  Reading books on selling and sharing it with salespersons

 

Experience needed to do this job

 

  • Extensive knowledge of the wheel and tire industry

  • Had to have worked as a driver for MW and or a similar company and abides by the rules and regulations that apply to the drivers position

  • Extensive knowledge on what selling is and how to do it – sales training a must

  • Sales experience and the proven ability to understand people

Lathe Operator and programmer

Reports to: The Owner, and/or Repair Manager Salary/Benefits:  Starting at  $11 per hour plus bonus. 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of service

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed specific weekly Key performance indicators (KPI’s)

  • The ability to motivate themselves and stay motivated because of personal work ethics

  • Resolve problems as they “occasionally” arise with efficiency

  • Always be seeking to improve their abilities that are used within their position at MW with books – CD’s classes on welding and metallurgy etc…

  • Be on time

  • Maintain and complete cleaning duties before the end of the day on Fridays

  • Be kind and courteous

  • Maintain the lathe

  • Running all wheels that are required to be cut on the CNC lathe

  • Writing new computer programs for the CNC lathe

  • Must be able to inspect the previous workstations’ work and know when it is done properly. If not, then you are responsible to send it back. Your previous workstations are detail, structure, welding and painting. Do not cut any wheel that does not meet our excellence standards. You will be held responsible if a wheel does not meet the highest of standards, since this step is the last step in the process.

Skills

Qualifications/Education:  Preferred at least 3 year in a machine shop environment where the skill of CNC equipment was acquired -  or a 4-year degree in business management -  or  4+ Years of Military experience with an honorable discharge.  MW training available

  • Must be very mechanically inclined, and have experience that proves so.

  • CNC equipment – running and programming skills associated with the Bridgeport

  • The ability to motivate themselves and stay motivated because of personal work ethics

  • The ability to use clear – precise – English and be able to communicate with others effectively

  • The ability to be thorough and pay close attention to details – they must be detailed orientated

  • Patience with others

  • The ability to come across comfortable with the lathe and confident in his ability

  • The ability to multi - task and still be able to be great at doing there job – leaving no details behind

  • The ability to listen and respond properly

  • Always – every time – is on time! They are personally responsible.

  • The ability to work well with others

  • The ability to treat others as they want to be treated

  • The actions that communicate to others that he is confidence and rightly placed within the company

  • Patience with others

  • The ability to multi- task and still be able to be great at getting the complete job done

Experience needed to do this job

  • Must be very mechanically inclined, and have experience that proves so

  • Experience in lath operation, metallurgy and cutting metal (either on a manual or CNC lathe)

  • Machine shop experience a plus
